Hamid Mir, a Pakistani, is the only journalist to have interviewed Osama bin Laden and his deputy, Ayman al Zawahiri, since 9/11.
On the fifth anniversary of the attacks, Mr. Mir was in Afghanistan again, this time to interview Abu Dawood, the new al Qaida field commander there.
Final preparations have been made for an "American Hiroshima," Mr. Dawood told him, Mr. Mir said in an interview with Al Arabiya television last week. The attack or attacks will be led by Adnan El Shukrijumah, Mr. Mir said.
Mr. El Shukrijumah was born in Saudi Arabia in 1975, but grew up in Brooklyn. He was a friend of 9/11 hijack leader Mohammed Atta, and is both a trained nuclear technician and a pilot. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5 million for his capture.
When Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the former al Qaida operations chief who planned the 9/11 attacks was captured in 2003, he reportedly told his interrogators that Mr. El Shukrijumah would be in charge of the next major attack on America.

Exactly!..Our politicians will have the blood of Americans on their hands they can't wash off.

That article said -- "Adnan El Shukrijumah was last seen in Mexico in November, 2004, where he allegedly stole a crop duster near Mexicali. He's plotting to kill as many of us as he can. If he succeeds, give much of the credit to those in the Senate who want to cripple our ability to listen in on terrorist communications; to track terror financing, and to interrogate terror suspects."
Yeah, the Congress has much more warning of the nuclear option (*now*) than it did of the flying of the planes into the World Trade Center (*back then*). But, then again, I see a lot of "sticking heads in sand" here on FreeRepublic, too.

"Final preparations have been made for an "American Hiroshima,"" The only problem with these nutcases is that for them, an "American Hiroshima" would equal "Pearl Harbor II" and "awaken a sleeping giant and fill it with a terrible resolve".
America has thus far been fighting the WOT with a single finger of one hand. If ANY "weapon of mass destruction" is used on American soil, the US will go to a full war footing, and all hell will literally be "out for noon" for the Islamofascists.

The CIA is understandably vague about the interrogation techniques it seeks to protect, but according to Human Rights Watch, they are: "induced hypothermia; forcing suspects to stand for long periods; sleep deprivation; a technique called 'the attention grab' where a suspect's shirt is forcefully seized; the 'attention slap,' or open hand slapping that hurts but does not lead to physical damage; the 'belly slap," and sound and light manipulation."Gee, a lot of that sounds like standard Navy Seal training. If it's good enough for our elite troops, how could it be bad for A.Q.?

Five years after 911 and American politically correct politicians still have not learned anything. The American ruling elite is willing to sacrifice a certain amount of it's citizens in order bow at the alter of multiculturalism by allowing our borders to be wide open while 11,000 illegals (and some terrorists) pour into this country every day. If/when the next 911 happens, every politician in washington better head for the hills because the people that they swore to protect and defend will tar and feather them in the streets of a smoldering America.

The fact that we didn't go to full war footing after 911 tells one much about the people in DC. I hope you are correct and when we are hit again we will go to full war footing.

the US will go to a full war footing That's what I thought on 9/11/01.
Now five years have passed and the CommiecRATs have successfully turned enough of us into wimps that even a major hit won't awaken American wrath.

The US Senate Democrats and RINOS are responsible for any attack on the United States. They are anti-American and we the people need to take back our rights and repeal the 17th Amendment so that we can get some real Americans in the US Senate.
The founders never, never intended for a Senator to be elected for a period of 6 years by the people. He/She was to be appointed by the state legleslitature so that he/she would follow the wishes of the people of that state. The 17th Amendment has allowed the US Senate to become the failed Senate of Rome and they are sending our nation to ruin.

American wrath is more easily turned on President Bush, the one leader tough enough to fight for us, than it is on the enemy.

If we're nuked, the politicians will still be chanting "Islam is a religion of peace" and trying to pretend the death cult is separate from the terrorists.

I wouldn't make such threats. If we're nuked, all the doves will become hawks again. Full-out war will be supported by all congress critters to protect their jobs.
