Whether he is a sociopath or plays the victim is irrelevant to his perceived performance by the Demo base who will undoubtedly love this.

Public performances are BJ's specialty - how do you think he got to be POTUs twice?
Don't underestimate him or his ability to energize the Demo base with this sort of stuff.
