I would definitely agree with that for all Christians. for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. As He said, He (Jesus Christ) is the only way to the Father. There is no other way.

As for the discussion at hand, I was simply talking about taking prudent measures. And some measures are real simple and good for a lot of different situations that can come up (not only about terrorism).

I am not a fatalist. I don't sit around saying "It is the will of Allah" like the Muslims. And yes, prudent measures are perfectly acceptable.

But fear of Thermonuclear War on the US soil against 12 or so cities is not something I will let rule my life.

People should be more worried about hugging their spouse, doing something for their kids, and getting right with the maker than going around digging a bomb shelter, purchasing duct tape by the case, and stocking up on iodine pills.
