To be honest I only saw a snippit of this discussion, Trace went off on a question to Ms. Gorelick about how she should testify to the commission and when will she do that? It was very odd, since there is no commission. I just think Trace was off track, which doesn't surprise me, since I don't have a lot of hope for him anyway. What did just disappoint me was that Julie B was just on, and said good for Clinton, he needs to speak up for himself. And I thought Julie was smart? Also, Howie Dean has just released a statement about the Clinton interview on the right wing station and how he was attacked, yada yada yada. Same old, same old.
"The Kremlinologist in me is trying to figure out if it's the heart surgery or a STD..."
STD, drug abuse and death fear! He`knows his secret service can be bought and conveniently look away for that perfect split second!
Dems should have ignored the Clinton outburst. Fox will replay and replay so people will get to see the interview and judge for themselves if it was an "attack". Clinton will come off once again as hiding something.
To which the proper response is: "Of course, you do realise what that means, Mara. It means that if he had acted responsibly and properly, Clinton would now be able to claim far more successes than Bush.
"Since Kiran is on F&F Weekends now, how about Lauren Green?"
Uma Pemaraju!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woof
Mara would never have had that thought come to mind had it not been told to her over and over.
Rush will discuss it, no doubt. Sean? I don't listen to him.
Please tell me the first paragraph was a parody. At least tell me it wasn't York's words.
And, if you've noticed, that's why I post the link on the very top of the thread!
Amen.
I don't think there was a connect . though I do believe they (China) took full advantage of that downed plane
Check out a thread on today's FR, "Democratic Insider: Hillary 'Unfit' for Presidency" posted by Leftism is Mentally Deranged.
I'm not certain what her center is. Revenge for being too eager to win the approval of the students she perceived as being "classy" when she arrived at Wellesley, who responded with amused contempt?
I think we underestimate the influence of what someone called, "America's native derangement about class and caste." For some, rejection, real or imagined, becomes the driving force of their ambition.
Some in the media describe H.C.'s background as priveleged, which it was not in the sense that they mean, and the suburb in which she grew up as exclusive, which it was not.
BBL, do you remember the trip HC made to, I think, Morrocco? She took Chelsea with her. There were very few pictures of this trip in print or on tv, and we Americans were not allowed by the media moguls to see the endless tapes of HC and Chelsea enjoying the hospitality of the rich pashas. They played these tapes over and over in Europe with breathless voice-overs from swooning news readers..."Comme une reine..." and so on.
And there she was, at a feast where the servants, with downcast eyes knelt in front of her and the pashas offering trays of food, and on her face a bland acceptance that this bowing and scraping was her due. And if anyone saw Nita Lowey bowing over and over to HC, and tossing flowers at her, when the New York Dems told Lowey, a loyal Dem congrsswoman for 19 years, that HC would replace her in the Senate race, "then, you know what I'm talkin' about."
Who said, "An idealist is a social climber with a bomb in his pocket"?
Thanks for posting.
Amen, EC!!! So true.
I don't listen to Sean either. I have several CDs of Celtic music that I use as afternoon background sound.
Folks, PerConPat has put it in very simple but strong terms. Read below:
1. There have been no demonstrably successful attacks on the US homeland since the invasion of Iraq.
2. The Iraq and Afghanistan incursions have provided fronts on which to fight the terrorists.
I called it Bubbas Capt. Queeg moment, all that was missing
was the Ball Bearings
In true Clintonesta form, rewriting history.
