Progress for America (PFA) today announced its second ad broadcasting a series of chilling images of past terror attacks against the United States. Lieutenant General Emil R. "Buck" Bedard (Ret.), a three-star general that was stationed in the Pentagon on 9-11 is the voice in the ad, and calls these attacks "cold-blooded murders."
The ad is airing on national cable and broadcast television in Missouri. This is the second PFA-funded ad to air in Missouri, and is slated to run through next week.
During his 37 years in active duty, Gen. Bedard remembers the terror attacks that predate 9-11, including the Israeli 1972 Olympic Team murdered in Munich, the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis, Marines killed by radical Islamists in Beirut, Americans killed in Nairobi, and the bombing of the USS Cole.
"Americans think the War on Terror is something new," says Gen. Bedard, and, "they're wrong." In the ad Gen. Bedard also warns, "These people want to kill us because we are Americans."The script is as follows:
General Bedard:
I served in the Marine Corps for 37 years. Most Americans think the War on Terror is something new.
They're wrong.
I was a young Marine when terrorists killed Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics and when the terrorists took American diplomats hostage in Iran.
My fellow Marines were killed by radical Islamists in Beirut. Hundreds killed at the American embassy in Nairobi. 17 American sailors were killed on the USS Cole. And I was in the Pentagon on 9-11. These were unprovoked attacks.
Most Americans think it just started five years ago. These people want to kill us because we are Americans.
Saddam once said that is was the duty of Arabs to embark on "Holy War" and they should target our interests Wherever they may be.
These are cold-blooded murderers and their work is not done. We saw proof of that in London. They doubt our resolve but we will not retreat in this War on Terror.
Announcer:
The War on Terror is a war for our country's freedom, security, and survival.

The site doesn't give any names, and I'm usually suspicious about the word "progress" or "progressive," because that's used in so many Rat orgs and sites, but they seem on the level .. and Gen. Bedard says it like it is .. NO politics.
I URGE EVERYONE TO SEE THIS IMPORTANT LITTLE HONEST VIDEO HISTORY ABOVE OF THE MISSION OF OUR VICIOUS ENEMIES.
BIG TIME PING!
Lieutenant General Emil R. "Buck" Bedard (USMC Ret) Joins Homeland Security Technology Inc.'s Military Advisory Board
DEL MAR, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 06, 2004 -- Homeland Security Technology, Inc. (OTC: HSTJ) founder Colonel Jeff Powers (USMC Ret) announced today that retired US Marine Corps Lieutenant General Emil "Buck" Bedard has joined the company's Military Technical Advisory Board (MTAB).
Regarding the addition of General Bedard to the Board, Colonel Powers commented, "General Bedard has a reputation throughout the Marine Corps and the Department of Defense as a 'warrior' general.
Since meeting him in Holland in 1986, General Bedard has continuously been a source of advice on combat operations, preparation for combat, and combat leadership. His philosophy has always been centered on vigilance and maintenance of a fighting posture for the fight that is coming now, not tomorrow.
**** He was proven correct on 9/11. The General evacuated his office in the Pentagon, following the terrorist strike, and immediately began to direct Marine Corps operations from his alternate command center in Headquarters Marine Corps. ****
His combat experience in Viet Nam, Desert Storm, and Somalia has always been in the center of the fight. The General has an instinctive understanding of what is required to maintain security at all levels to include the Homeland, which has been his focus since retiring from the Marine Corps.
The General's presence on the MTAB will provide HST with invaluable steering guidance and connectivity to the pulse of Homeland Defense."

He's the real deal!
Awesome hard hitting ad by an awesome hard hitting Marine.
His statements and his solid strength sure impress me .. didn't know about his impressive background, as well. Thanks, O. I'm so glad youtube had the video, now we don't have to depend on them being broadcast on cable. I was so struck the first time I saw it ... it just draws you in with the stark truth.
I've watched it twice.
BTTT
Spread the word, OK ..? We need to get this out.

Gee, I hope they remembered to say "Vote for Talent" or "Vote Republican" or "Support President Bush" or "Vote Against the Rats."
They're a non-political group ... don't oppose or support any candidates, according to the links in the main article.
Or parties?
Ping!
Put a link on the canteen thread.
They're wrong.

I've pinged the list, but will add a link too.
They should support and oppose viewpoints. Showing footage of terrorist attacks and saying this is a serious problem is better than nothing, but they could get more bang for their buck out this ad ... without running afoul of the law.
Nonpolitical, my arse. If they're trying to affect the election OR public policy -- which they damned well should be, or they're just jokers wasting their donors' money -- then they are political, even if not technically partisan.
To be "nonpolitical" in this day and age is not a badge of honor. Quite the opposite.
