Thousands wear red in support of troops (Canada)
Great news!!!
A man walked into the restaurant/bar at the tail end of our anniversary dinner last night. I commented on his shirt and he stopped to say hello and asked who we were. He was visiting the capital and the monuments and wandered over to the rally after hearing the speakers. He was surprised to find us and ended up hanging out and talking to us for a couple hours.
What a great day.
Glad you and your lovely bride made it home safe and sound.
It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze and wonderful speakers. I wish you ALL could have been there!!!
It was wonderful to meet you all!!!
Excellent photos W04Man!
Thank you both for being there and speaking! It was good to see you again!
Great job you guys and gals!
Here's a beautiful video showing what our troops are fighting for! It'll give you goosebumps.

You mean I actually made sense? I relieved! I'm not used to speaking - I'm the strong, silent type (NYUCK, NYUCK, NYUCK).
Thanks to all for the support and sense of community, all. Otherwise I never would have made it this far. It was great meeting everyone.
I don't know if I mentioned it in the speech or not, but it occurred to me to do so on the drive up. It seemed to me to be almost exactly 2 years ago that I last saw Karl. I checked this morning. Yesterday was the second anniversary of Karl's flight out to Pendleton for final deployment training.
On the drive back, I felt the urge to be around Marines, so I ducked off at exit 148 and into Quantic for a few minutes.
God Bless you POP! You were surrounded by those that love and support you. Thank you again for being there yesterday as a wonderful representative of what has made America great!
To all the Feepers in the area, show up next time. COOP?
Hillary should be in Jail.
great to meet you too!
No problem and I will continue to speak out in support of our troops and I feel so bad that I got sick before meeting each and evet person.
I KNOW you will Kevin.....and THANK YOU! I hope you are feeling much better today. See you soon.

Thank you for being there and for all you do for the troops!
Just got home, and beginning to think about this great worthwhile week-end.
I always like to watch the 'edges' of our rallies, and see the reactions of those who just happen to come across whatever we are doing. Yesterday was no exception. Some people strolled slowly, watching and listening, and some just stopped to listen until a speaker was finished. I only saw one woman who made a spectacle of herself, shouting and gesturing with her arms. Didn't look like she made any points for whatever cause she was ranting about.
Even those who walked by right in front of the stage seemed to approve. One biker whooped approval and raised a V-for victory sign.
Middle America. Nice to see.
So nice to see old Freeper friends and to meet new ones, and SOOOOOOOO nice to have JimRob right there with us ---- or should I say WE were there with HIM!
Taxman Bravo Zulu! to all who made the Rally possible, to all who attended and to all who participated!
I dearly wanted to attend, but my health does not yet permit me to travel.
