Those who are drunk enough to require wearing the anklet won't notice it. They'll have passed out before they do get around to feeling it on their ankles.

Maybe they should remove half of the drunks liver
so if the drunk drinks again they will be causing their own death.

I think I'd leave California before my government ever attached an electronic leash to me.

And why are we worried about "The Axis of Evil"?

And what would happen if I wrap an adhesive tape on my skin under the ankle bracelet, to prevent, or better, limit [incomplete wrapping] its contact with skin perspiration? One could tape the bracelet all over, but that would be tampering with the bracelet. Tampering with one's own skin is another matter.

You think death is a reasonable way to deal with someone convicted of drunken driving or other alcohol related offenses?

I look more to the people who founded the modern movement, not those that co-opted it for themselves.

SCRAM -- Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol MonitorsYou've just got to believe that this is one of those acronymns they made up first and then fooled around until they found words with the right initials to fit.

Drinking itself is not a crime; driving drunk is hard to do while wearing a modem; a guy just might as well take to his bed.
