The real October Surprise is that there is no October Surprise.
It's a ploy to drive the Dems insane trying to figure out what it is and do danage control on the unknown . I'll bet on this one.

If the democrats were truly confident in their abilities to fight terrorism, they wouldn't say this every election cycle. In essence they are saying "our party sucks at fighting terrorism"

``If you had a business strategy that worked all the time that was premised on scaring the living daylights out of people, you just keep doing it,'' Clinton said in an interview... Social Security.

Bill will do ANYTHING to make sure Hillary doesn't run/win.
He is so self-centered, he must be the center of attention all of the time. Hillary be damned.

". . . You've got to be able to at least look yourself in the eye and say, 'I will not be letting my country down if I get this job.'" I'm not forgetting the wonderful conversations Slick prompted between parents and children...or the lasting cultural legacy of teenagers thinking of BJs as "not being sex," and "no big deal."

Good question.
So far since 9/11, we have had no terror attacks in the US. President Bush has a 100% success rate.
How can they possibly do better than a 100% success rate?...lol

Clinton whining about Rove's political tactics?
The man who invented the infamous War Room, the smearing of innocent people (Billy Hale, Richard Jewell anyway?) and silencing the women he had affairs with?
It's as if the years 1993-2001 were just a happy dream (Cue the Disney animal characters singing and laughing in the forest).

I disagree.
He would LOVE to be the first 'FIRST HUSBAND' in US history.
His megalomnaniac, narcissistic, ego would be stroked (no pun intended) more than anything else he could do in the remainder of his life. He would REVEL in that historical role.
To: gogeo
So true. I will never forgive Bill Clinton for bringing such trashy/common talk to the TV and into my living room.
How dare he conduct himself in such a degrading way. He was elected to the highest office in the country, and he drug it into the gutter.
