Sounds like you want Randy Graf to lose.

Usually bot. No support for a conservative like Randy Graf but I'm sure you got Lincoln Chafee and Joe Lieberman's backs, right?

"It really hurts the open border, aiders and abettors of INVADERS that their open border pimp did not win so they are trying to help their favorite democrat."

As CNN said, Giffords would give president Bush more of what he wants on immigration than Randy Graf. So maybe the open border shills do want a Giffords win.

"You party hacks are all too typical. You won't get behind the conservative candidate but you'll squeal like stuck pigs when conservatives won't support your RINOs."

See #61.

Pretty shameful they're using phoney internal polls from Giffords herself to say Randy Graf has no chance. Some people.

I think Kolbe would lose to her as well in the General if he stayed.

Kolbe would have lost to Graf if he had run a second negative campaign like he did in '04 when he outspent Graf 10:1. So, Kolbe put his puppet into place and ran with his tail between his legs (well, other than continuing to do everything he could to sabotage Graf on a personal vendetta).

Graf and at least one of the Dems (Latas) had already announced they would run before Kolbe bailed. The others just came in to ride on the frontrunner's (Graf's) coattails.

And her closest rival joined her on the podium election night.

Whatever else the Dems are, the rival showed some class and the Dems pulled together. Huffman stayed at home, sulking for days, until he could bring himself to make a phone call. And now, as evidenced by any of the Graf threads on this so-called conservative site, there are puh-lenty of other sore losers who would rather the seat go Dem than to support the primary conservative winner.

It was a 5 way race for republicans. Huffman pissed everyone off. Of course your not going to get 50% when there are 5 candidates running.

That's not the point he was arguing.

It only takes a simple majority. Didnt you take civics?

You are mistaken. It didn't take a simple majority, and furthermore a simple majority is 50% + 1 - so ask yourself the latter question.

Explain to me how 50% +1 is a simple majority in a 5 way race.

Even during the election, there will be a 4 - 8 way race for this district.

Republican
Democrat
Independent
Libertarian
assorted small moonbat party.

I don't know what the demographics are in that district anymore, nor do I know why there is so much angst over this race other than the media has managed to make it into a big deal. It looks like all the candidates were in favor of some form of border improvement, but since this issue is swamped with name-calling and character assaults I don't care who wins. The winning candidate will vote for the issue that paid the ticket and then forget about it...in two years...to move to the center.

Good for Graf. Unlike many Republicans, he understood that expensive advertising moves votes, but retail, grassroots campaigning wins heartfelt supporters for a lifetime.

I can add to your post that gifford, the democrat, also had 4 primary opponents and got more than 50%.

Yeah? Did the DNCC pour a cool quarter mil into one of them?

Your illogic amazes me. I won't waste my time trying to explain it to you.

Sorry. Really. It was a slip of the finger. I meant RNC.

Just a clarification. I'm pretty sure a simple majority is a plurality- the highest vote wins. An absolute majority is 50% +1. Or so I was taught in Politics.
