The Wall Street Journal had an excellent book review on Thursday called "Bad-Mouthing Prosperity" that has some excellent facts about our incredible wealth as a nation and how that wealth has grown to undreamed of levels in 35 years.

I now think the GOP will not only keep control of Congress, it will pick up seats, in another break with the mid-term pattern for the President's party since 1934. The economy has a lot to do with it as well as the fact the Democrats are not credible on national security. Just six months ago things looked bleak. The turnaround has been stunning.
