Clinton's dramatic increase in wealth is easily deduced from the public record. Clinton routinely travels giving $300,000 talks. What could an audience hear that is worth this much money? Nothing. The point of the talks is to remind currently elected officials that there is a pot of gold at the end of their reign so long as they bend to the wishes of the paymasters while in power. The paymasters know if they don't demonstrate this after-power payoff that they won't get their way. Who are the paymasters? Hint, they have money.

The $300K talks, especially if you factor in the break in the action after the bypass surgery, aren't nearly enough.
As for the 'pot of gold' problem in American politics, see post 45.

To take your analysis one step further: American politics is a way for the mediocre to achieve fame and fortune."... and if you can't teach, you become a politician."
