hmm... my translation read "would have died". but the guy who originally posted this at the forum i found this at lives in france. and he says:
No, it's a mistranslation. "serait mort" can't be translated by "would have died" here. "most certainly dead" is a better translation.
Thanks for the work on the translation -- but a French news report allegedly based on information from the Saudi police doesn't seem much to go on.
Maybe Inspector Clouseau's services would be of assistance.
