I have family in Canada, who have to deal with their disastrous health-care system. Any relief they currently enjoy with the Canadian drug plan will surely be overwhelmed by a supply/demand crush from the US. This issue is not about one country. It's about the fundamental right of Americans to shop around for the best deal. Around here, we go to Mexico for our expensive prescriptions. The Internet can make the world market available to people who don't happen to live near a border.

"This issue is not about one country. It's about the fundamental right of Americans to..."
And so how many countries does America total up to?
We need to solve our own problem, not sponge off our neighbors, who by the way, could easily slap an export duty on drugs leaving the country if they have to... and they will.
Having Walmart step up to the plate is exactly the kind of solution America needs. Let American business solve the problem, for Americans.
