No, not at all. Don't be fooled into thinking we have a lot of time.

Well time is relative. In the beginning there was a void. The approx 15 billion years ago the Universe was formed.
The earth came into being approc 4.5 billion years ago.
Various species of life have been roaming the waters and dry land on earth for well over 700 million years.
Various iterations of human or human like beings have been wandering the earth for 3 - 5 million years.
Jesus was here only 2000 years ago - a nanosecond in time - space continuum. So "coming soon" could be several million years off.

While 2,000 years "soon" is one of those mysteries I'm eager for God to clear up . . .

a million years off is nonsense.

THIS GENERATION [that sees Israel become a nation again in a day] shall not pass away until they see all these related prophecies come to pass . . .

seems, to me, to preclude a million years off.

I expect at least one person alive in 1948 to be alive in say 2050+

Not tomorrow, to be sure.

But I'd have thought such a statistically versed perspective would have readily seen that 46 or so years from now is considerably shorter than a million years.
