I read the rough transcript and realized that the Clintonistas argue both sides of this particular coin like this:

One side:

1) OBL was not known to average Americans and the CLintonistas could not build American will to get him [I remember this from Dick Morris]

Flip side:

2) They were going all out to find OBL, throw over the Taliban government.

To counter their arguments to 1:

- a Leader leads, damns the polls and lets the American public know the reasons we fight [President Bush]

- the American public knowing nothing of OBL when he was literally in the site of a drone - they could have killed him off and no one in that administration would have breathed a word.

To counter their arguments to 2:

- Clintonistas lie, have lied and will continue to lie about their inept and incompetent pursuit of terrorists. Clinton's legacy is their legacy and the bank from which they milk their financial interests.
