"subvert" ???
That's an ironic laugh coming from someone who posts & defends the posting of Marxist propaganda on a supposedly conservative forum.
What's really insidious and supports the view this can't be for informative/educational purposes is they're seldom, if ever, accompanied by any appropriate warning and/or negative editorial comment.
Given that, beyond & primary to their economic goals, communists are openly determined to eradicate both religious faith & traditional families, your stated concerns about citizenship & consumerism are downright frivolous since neither would matter one iota without our fundamental freedoms.

I believe it is our colleague D.G. who repeatedly has asked for anyone to identify a citizen that is not also a consumer.

No they are not, in fact they are key to the destruction of our country for the 'economic regions' the globalists envision.
In fact, all your "free trader" friends on this forum talk only of 'consumers' and what 'consumers' want never citizenship and the duties of citizens to their country. And I'd like to remind you that it is the "free traders" who are corrupting our government and relegating marriage and traditional families to the dustbin of history. You see, in their corrupt minds, NOTHING must interfere with trade. Not borders, not the 13th amendment.
