i agree, human face, plain and obvious, probably carved by aliens who propagated life on earth, but decided to put a big rock carving on Mars where it would take us 30,000 years of civilization to find it, rather than, say, in Egypt somewhere. Aliens are tricky that way.

What are the dimensions?
Looks to be a replication of a race trying to let surrounding planets know of their tragic condition. It is a shame our rovers can't go there. I'm sure all our questions would be answered:
Where we came from
Where are we going
