I have often heard muslims say that Jesus is one of their prophets...as are Mary, John the Baptist, Moses, Adam, and so on. Muslims seem to have some cognitive dissonance with Jesus. He's one of their prophets, yet the people who revere him, they hate. And if it comes down to it, they'll speak disparagingly against him. And obviously they don't care to read the new testament. I suppose if the koran mentions him at all then all they need to know about him is in the koran.
