Major James R. Crowe CSA or Jim Crow as he is now known was one of the Pulaski Six, the actual founders of the Klan.

Oon April 20, 1871 a Republican Congress enacts the Ku Klux Klan Act, outlawing Democratic Party-affiliated terrorist groups which oppressed African-Americans.

After violence against Republicans in South Carolina, President Ulysses Grant deploys U.S. troops to combat Democrat terrorists who formed the Ku Klux Klan.

Nathan Beford Forrest was at one time the Klans leader until President Grant threaten to have him imprisoned or worse, only then did Forrest disbanded the Klan.

Both Martin Luther King and Ralph Abernathy voted for Republican Dwight Eisenhower for President in 1956. Later after meeting with Dr. King, Eisenhower created The United States Commission on Civil Rights.
