Hey, I coined the phrase on Savage, that he is the Howard Beal of talk radio. I don't think he got fired, he dropped dead after a screaming rant. The character played by Bill Holden recognized the madness of Beal, and was overuled in the firing of him by Faye Dunaway.
I sometimes think it would be easier, and preferable, to bring the Dims around to sanity, than doing the same with the Republicans. One more lost election, and the Democrats will be left like an empty shell by the far left. There has to be a divorce between the two, or we will be stuck with a one party system of R's. That is not good for citizens, no matter how it is spun.

I'm calling Tancredo, Weldon, and Sensenbrenner tommorrow and telling them all to run with Spencer, Pipes, and Sperry as their ideological advisors. I think any one of those guys could win with the right management of their campaigns.
