* Folks, all that has happened, is that McCain sent up his counter proposal, then announced to the media that a deal was "near", knowing that the MSM would go overboard as assume that Bush would just accept anything McCain through his way. The last word on this will be from BUSH, not McCain. If and when there is a deal, it will be BUSH that announces it, not McCain's PR department.
