Bobbie: "But she's one of the nicer liberals."
Uncle Phil: "I don't like any of them."
Bobbie and Uncle Phil were acquaintances of mine.
I won't even concede she is one of the nicer ones. I don't like her and I don't like any of them. Just my 2 cents.
She isn't nice. She's never been nice, and she wasn't ever really very perky. She seemed kinda perky when she started at Today, but after she ran Bryant Gumbel off the perkiness wore thin. She was already middle aged then, and now she's fast approaching perky old age. She's not pretty either. They need to get someone like Laurie Dhue to read the news. People would tune in to that. Maybe the White Ho, since it would have to be a left winger.
