I'm making it a point to go about 3 minutes into the Katie show before I turn the station. I'm hoping that I register as one who is actively turing her off. In order to get true ratings, I was under the impression one's television had to be connected to a Neilsen box. Has technology surpassed the old way of rating audiences viewership? If so, I want to know so I won't ever tune in to certain programs, even if its just to poke fun.

I don't know... I would guess that my local cable affiliate knows what I'm watching all the time. I would guess that cable companies can and probably do provide information.

I really think cable has a way of monitoring what you watch.
