I had a feeling we'd see more about support to Saddam from our "allies". Expect similar stuff on other allies.

I'd prefer not to speculate as to who.

I think some of our officials in the intelligence community who were resisting the release of these captured Iraqi documents to the public were concerned that some of these documents can embarrass "our allies". You remember the documents that talk about Russia giving Iraq military intelligence about our troops strength and locations prior to the war.

I doubt that Khan was involved in intelligence matters. The sources who provided the information to the Iraqis were most probably members of the Pakistani intelligence service.
