Pre-Boot Murtha Rally Event:
FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL MOTORCYCLE RIDE!

Attention Boot Murtha Rally goers: We have an exciting pre-Rally event for all you biker folks!

An avid biker and anti-Murtha activist has put together a great motorcycle ride in remembrance of the heroic Americans on United Flight 93.  It will go from Johnstown to the temporary Flight 93 memorial and return to the War Memorial Arena in time for the Boot Murtha Rally. 

The ride will start at the Zepka Harley-Davidson showroom at 960 Eisenhower Blvd. in Johnstown.  Riders will gather after 10:00 AM for an 11:00 AM departure.  The ride to the memorial will be approximately 45 minutes, and a short reflection period will follow at the memorial.  The group will then return to the War Memorial Arena, arriving not later than 1:30 PM.

The route will go up Eisenhower Blvd. to Rt. 56, then on Rt. 160 south, turning right on Shanksville Rd. (just past Lake Stonycreek.  It will proceed through Shanksville to the Flight 93 temporary memorial.  The formation will leave the memorial and take Lambertsville road to Rt. 30 to Rt. 219 North back into Richland, taking the Rt. 56 bypass into Johnstown to the War Memorial. 

We have been told that there will be "Code Pink" demonstrators at the Memorial (these are the low-lifes who have been harassing the families of wounded veterans outside Walter Reed Army Hospital and Bethesda Naval Hospital and other military hospitals). The formation will make a “courtesy pass” by them to let them know what we think of them.

The riders will then line up their bikes in front of the War Memorial Arena just prior to the commencement of the Boot Murtha Rally.

Well, just one more reason for me to get my weekend squared away and my butt in gear.
I may arrange to meet everyone at the Memorial and follow them back in.
I'll be caged, unfortunately.
I'll be at Walter Reed on Friday night, and leave early Saturday morning.
Not going to miss a night with my buds if I can help it.
I'm just not going to get as, ahhh, hmmm, (drunk, is the word I'm stumbling for,) as I did last week.
