I have to agree with Justshutup re: Rudy and the WOT. Another couple of things: I don't want a communications clone of GW as our next President. As much as I like most of GW's policies, he has to be the near polar opposite of 'The Great Communicator", much to the dismay of Republicans. The ability to communicate to the opposition, Europe and our enemies has never been made more clear. The less affectations the better, it just distracts from the issue and allows a Presidents enemies to have another issue to attack, no matter how trivial.
As a former federal prosecutor, Rudy is articulate and can think on his feet. Not sure, but I don't think Rudy would sit back aand take it like GW does, when he is being verbally thrashed daily by his enemies and opposition. The main reason GW's numbers are up lately is why? He's been out making speeches defending his policies. Remember GW thought he could coast home the last week of the election and cut way back of his appearances - it cost him.
If he gets that far, I believe Giuliani is the only Rep. that can take California. For every conservative who would stay home and not vote for Rudy, as many Independants and conservative democrats,(yes, there are such creatures) who also put the WOT as the #1 or 2 issue would more than fill their ranks. 55 electoral votes.
If and when Iran makes fissionable material, and with their terrorist connections, the WOT will be #1 on everyone's list.
