when i said "filing" read the whole sentance.
transfer them [IRS agents]to border patrol to process immigration applications, and go after those that haven't filed.
i meant going after those who haven't filed immigration papers.
i figure that since they already have so much experience going after people who make little mistakes on forms, or don't send them in, they already have the experience tracking down and prosecuting, they'd be great for nailing illegal immigrants :)
after all, we don't want them all becoming bums when the IRS is dissolved, we should help them become USEFUL members of society.

I'm sorry. I did misunderstand ... and in fact I agree that might be helpful experience for them in their new jobs, but I'd rather see them "in the field".
After all there are 115,000 IRS'ers which would give us about 20 people for each mile of border on each of three shifts. IOW, about one person less than a hundred yards from the next one - on each of the shifts... LET'S DO IT!!!
