I saw the tape of this outrageous moment the other night. Incredible and monumentally disgusting.
The look on George Allen's face was a mixture of quiet rage and disbelief. The boos started in response to the question, and Allen reacted with measured anger: Perfect response.
Thing is, I agree that the "Jewish Question" thrown Allen's way will prove to be the turning point in this campaign. That imbecilic, anti-semetic, reporter took the "M" word right off the map for Allen, greatly smoothing his road to re-election.
