Hershey honoring DeLana Harvick at Kansas
SCENEDAILY - 1:27PM ET TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2006 -
DeLana Harvick is being honored as a "Sensational Woman" this weekend at Kansas Speedway. MARK HAWKINSKevin Harvick Inc. team co-owner DeLana Harvick is being honored by the Hershey Co.
Harvick operates a two-car Busch Series team. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, as part of that, the Hershey Co. through three of its brands is honoring "Sensational Women" and their support of breast cancer awareness.
Harvick is one of four women being recognized by the company. She will be given the award during this weekend's activities at Kansas Speedway.

Trickle to receive Isaac award at Lowe's race
CONCORD, N.C. -- Short-track racing legend Dick Trickle will receive the Bobby Isaac Memorial Award during pre-race ceremonies for the Dollar General 300 on Oct. 13 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.The Bobby Isaac Memorial Award is presented annually by Lowe's Motor Speedway to an individual or group in recognition of outstanding contribution to short-track racing. Isaac, one of the sport's outstanding racers, was well known for his short-track exploits and commitment, and it is in his honor the award is named.
While detailed records were not kept, some estimates put Trickle's career win total at nearly 1,200. The native of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., was a dominant force in late model stock-car racing throughout the Midwest for decades....

Re: The Dega car......this question was asked of Jr on the live call in show last night.
Jason - Have they done anything different to the Talladega car? Jr said the engine dept has gotten more horsepower for the Talladega car than the July Daytona car had. Jr said the new asphalt will be good but rough on the tires. He also said a few motors are running on the dyno right now.
