The updates sound like it's a contained pesticide spill that is in the process of being cleaned up. All my flippancy aside, the emergency preparedness crews in the county are very well trained and I'm sure things are being handled quickly, safely and professionally. Let's hope things are back to normal out there very soon.

Two cars derailed that have unidentified hazardous material in them. (Besides the one that is leaking). Power has been cut off in Crawford due to the "chemical fog". (Per KXXV).
Glad W isn't in town!

Yup, ethanolamine is the main concern - three chem cars layed over.
KXXV just had a short interview bit with reporter Eric (*the TV Queen*) Gemmell back from the scene.

Turned the tv off too soon. That doesn't sound good at all. Prayers for Crawford. I'm turning the computer off for the night, but will keep the tv on. I, too, am glad W isn't in town. Wonder if he knows about this?
