I don't know about that, The Supreme Court could end it as the law of the land. But thinking that it will ever be forcibly eradicated is false. The only thing that can be done is kick it back to the states, where is should have been settled in the first place, from there it's a hearts and minds campaign.

Just because I want to be clear, I am pro-life at both ends of the debate. I oppose Capital punishment as well. Flame away. My point is that the ongoing threat of terror and the islamofacists, has now changed forever the status of social issues, because if you have no security you will have no social issues.

I won't flame ya def. But, a child in the womb is innocent and hardly deserve death no matter the circumstance of his conception. Someone evil, an evil that hacks people to death, slashes throats, terrorizes children (or societies..), can most definitely deserve death.

I've had some quote the "Thou Shalt Not Kill" commandment as a reason to reject the death penalty for proven criminal, even criminals of the worst kind.

I believe the truer interpretation is "Thou Shall Not Commit Murder". There is a difference between killing someone righteously and committing murder. For instance, our Soldiers Kill the enemy, they do not murder them.

What say you?
