Too true. It's vulgar. Just because the U.N. is in NYC, why should we allow world leaders in the country, who's stated goal is the destruction of this country? That is just the epitamy of STUPIDITY! Let the U.N. purchase it's own island somewhere out of the U.S. and have it's own little country. Anything to get them out of the U.S.. We could start dumping our garbage somewhere in the middle of the ocean, and someday when it breaks the surface making an island made of trash, build the U.N. headquarters on that. It would be appropriate I think.
Never happen. Too many 5thAve retailers, catering busnisses, limo leasing outfits, high-end restaurants, B'way theaters etc would scream bloody murder. Not to mention all the NY libs who just love being in such a cosmopolitan city.
