No one is asking for perfection, just functionality. The UN has failed to adjust to the political reality since its founding almost 60 years ago. The only time it works is when the Security Council agrees and the US provides the vast bulk of the resources.

I agree... I guess what I meant was, it's beyond expectations to even think the UN would be un-corrupt and effective. I don't think that's possible. It's been tried for nearly 100 years now.

Just back from mtg. What's the latest on when President Bush is going to speak. Is he after the current speaker? Is this gentleman currently speaking the person from Brazil? Watching the FOXNews feed, and there are no "subtitles". Thanks for your help.
