1.15 a gallon...maybe. Also could be a MSM strategy to get the voters pissed off at Bush...election rolls around and gasoline is a 1.99 per gallon. Voters storm into the polling places muttering 'that doggone George Bush...where is my 1.15 gas!'

I was also musing at some of the "in depth" news pieces that have been done by the DBM that focus on the lingering effect of gas prices on the homeless, hungry, thirsty etc.
They must have had to add "In spite of recent short term relief" before the expected "BLAH BLAH BLAH"
