They've certainly forgotten who bailed out their collective arses in 1917, and again in 1938 - 1945 (Lend-Lease before Pearl Harbor).
I think they've forgotten the Marshall Program too.
They'll soon forget those subway bombings as well as the attempted hijacking of 10 jumbo jets.

I think you will find that "Lend Lease" started in 1941 following Roosevelts re-election in 1940. The final installment of our re-payment of Lend Lease will be made in December this year when UK government will write the US a cheque for $83000000......
But no doubt you will still cast up the United States assistance. Just incase you dont realise how the Wars affected Britain, WW1 Great Britain 1 million KIA. USA 1 hundered and 25 thousand KIA. WW2 Great Britain 4 hundered thousand KIA + 60 thousand civilians killed. WW2 USA 3 hundered thousand KIA......
The majority of us in the UK remember our history, we just refrain from altering it to score cheap points..
