Do you consider the abu graib stuff (Stripping people naked, having them pile on each other in human pyramids, making people masterbate and photographing them, sleep deprivation, long periods of forced standing, having dogs bark at crouched prisoners) toruture? Do you think it is permissible under the Geneva Convention as currently written? Did we do any of this to Jap or Kraut prisoners in WWII? Any naked pyramids, that kind of stuff? A lot of what went on in abu graib is a reflection of the lowered morals of modern America - the porn generation.

Hell no.

Do you think it is permissible under the Geneva Convention as currently written?

There's no way to determine if it violates the vague language of Common Article Three, without clarification, but the question is irrelevant because there's about five different reasons why the Geneva Conventions do not apply.
