As a over-the-road truck driver I see alot of the eastern half of the country. I have been amazed at the frequency of seeing support stickers/ribbons on cars in all states, signs, etc on over passes. Still, sometimes the effort wanes.
We still have troops coming home from time to time. It would be great if people could keep remembering our troops with efforts like this all over the country.
While our troops are in the field, we still need to keep the signs and ribbons up. When they come home, we for sure don't want them to see 'nothing.'
I hope Americans everywhere will be inspired by this great effort you are undertaking, to do a little more themselves.
Have to jump in here 1-Eagle and say if your travels ever take you through DC you have to make the effort to do these FREEPs.
I did my first one at WR on Friday. I'm still floating.
I'm telling you it will do your heart good and restore your faith in humanity. The large number of honks, hollers and hoots given to the FReepers versus the occasional puny bleat for those lowdown Pinkos will just blow you away. And when the guys pull in on the bus? Man, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Great stuff.
Plus, Your big rig would be very cool with the Burma Shave signs on them! Now that I think of it, it would be pretty cool for you to go jamming with the Rapid Transformation Force at Olney, too! Those moonbats wouldn't know what hit them! Ha-ha.
Cheers and travel safe -
