...you sound like you are campaigning...and making the same mistake many FR's do; changing the subject cause you don't like him.....but i'm not talking about his merits here.....I'm not cheering for him or highlighting his career...I simply stated that he is popular in his home state and fairly popular nationwide. Period...not good, bad or indifferent....and not only polls but even conservatives will tell you the same.....
I'm from Arizona and I sincerely question your argument. Arizona is filled with retirees and with former military. Niether group has much love for McCain. Then there is the border issue, and his questionable loyalty to Republican and conservative causes. And, it must be said, next to McCain George Bush is a genius. Finally, Arizona Republicans are generally conservative, just like the folks in South Carolina who sent McCain packing in 2000.
