Life without parole.

Doesn't work. Murderers are still able to murder again while serving LWOP. They commonly do. They are also often able to continue criminal connections to the outside. Lots of Mexican Mafia hits are ordered from within prison. It is strongly believed that "Tookie" Williams continued to exert control over the Crips from prison. It is positive that he almost murdered a guard while in prison, and was almost murdered himself in another fight.

I do know one thing. There are a huge amount of people outside the walls that are killing people every single day and get this; they get a way with it legally. That is really sad.

Prison is Prison. People are there for killing people. I would venture to say that the guard probally pissed him off. Not that it gives him a reason to murder that guard but it very well could have been self-defense. I usually don't believe much of what I read or see on the news because a majority of the time, they are way off of the true facts in criminal cases. I am a person that has to see to believe and I wasn't there so I really can't say one way or another what REALLY did happen.
