Now back under Iraqi management. Somehow I suspect that play time is over. So sad.
On Bilal Hussein, he has participated in many terrorist attacks and crimed of violence. Here are some pictures of a murder, where the murderers are clearly cooperating with Hussein, and his criminally immoral enablers at AP, to get their message out. WARNING: Graphic and gruesome. This page has a number of pics from Iraq, but the first six pictures are of the dead body of civilian Salvatore Santoro, an Italian citizen, and of his murderers.

The Associated Press murdered Santoro. The insurgents would not have killed him unless they were assured of good press. Thanks to AP and its pro-insurgent policies, they were.
By the way, Hussein's other job was providing cell phones to the insurgents for IED detonators. AP knows this but hey, he gets them good graphic pictures of murder victims, thanks to being one of the murderers.

You aren't going to believe this one. A young NCO that I have been mentoring informed me that his unit recently had an embed -- Peter "Baby Milk" Arnett.
For young FReepers, who may not remember Arnett, he was famous for fabricated Vietnam atrocity stories (he is responsible for the line "we had to destroy the village in order to save it." Of two officers he has attributed that to in different times, one denies saying it, and the other denies ever meeting him!)
Then Peetah went to CNN when it started. He was part of their war coverage and during Gulf War I was their "star" reporter, reporting from inside Iraq under the direction of Saddam's propaganda ministry. During this period he posted a report saying that the USA attacked not a chemical plant, but a "baby milk factory," and had the proof: a hand painted sign saying "baby milk factory" in the rubble. In English!
He lost his job at CNN after running a completely fabricated report that claimed that US SF used nerve gas to kill American POWs behind the lines in Vietnam. Now, if you think about that, the reasoning there is so convoluted it makes your hair hurt. AFTER the story ran, CNN fired the two fabricating producers, Jack Smith and April Oliver, and let Peetahs contract run out without ever sticking him in front of a camera again.
So here's this gung-ho young soldier telling me that Peetah showed up at his unit, and wondering what the report would be like (I have no idea who would hire Peetah... AP maybe). This young infantryman was probably 14 when Arnett got fired and just a kid when he first became a laughingstock over the "baby milk" thing. So he doesn't know he and his unit are about to star in some phony atrocity story.
Who coined that term Enemedia? I like it. It's accurate referring to people like Arnett and Hussein and his enablers like Connolly at AP.
Ernie Pyle, though, lives. His name is Michael Yon in this century.
