Good grief, basil. I-35, I-10, I-20, and every other interstate highway divides this state. We have workarounds called "overpasses".
If you see any similarity between what is being proposed and I-35, I-20, and I-10--then that may just be your problem!

Dog Gone, you are being disingenuous -- again. (Or is that -- more accurately -- "dishonest"?)
I have gone to extreme lengths -- including creating complex graphics -- to illustrate to you the access problems associated with the multi-mode TTC corridor concept. And yet, you respond to folks' honest concerns with "drive-by" platitudes like this one.
Worse, you open your discussions with ad hominem slurs like labeling those who are honestly discussing the issue, "kook fringe".
BobL and I have treated you with (far more than you deserve, apparently) respect. Perhaps it is time that we abandon all attempts to treat you as an honest, concerned FReeper and abandon all discourse with the Perry/TDXDOT spinmeister you have supplied ample evidence of being.

"Overpasses", across Interstates, are provided as a public service -- required by the taxpayers of those who designed the interstates -- and funded by the taxpayers. They are a far cry from the quarter-mile-long "crossovers" over the fenced-off TTC.
Cintra-Zachry is already fighting hard to conceal the truth about their plans for the TTC -- but that is nothing like the lawyer-armies they will employ to fight the building of each and every crossover -- because the cost of any "public service" (i.e. crossover) will come directly out of C-Z's anticipated profits.
