I am just in for a quick rest and a cold drink and couldn['t resist checking the thread.

I have predicted for some time that Romney will be the nominee. I have no favorites in the race; I do detest McCain and consider him in the "NO WAY" category.

Romney is flying under the radar right now, but he is organized quite well in Iowa and he is articulate and smart. He is a much more formidable candidate than people realize; how else did he manage to get elected in Massachusetts?

We will see. All of the candidates (except McCain) bring pluses and minuses into the arena. I simply think that right now Romney has more pluses and less minuses for one who wants to be a successful candidate.

Agree he's got a real good "shot". From what I've heard in DC circles, "the money folks" are taking a really good look at him.
