Posted this the other day and see no reason to change it except for an edit in the number of years at the end.

IMO
Newt has shot his load already. He had the chance for greatness and blew it.
Tancredo, outside of the interior West and border/illegal immigration followers, is unknown.
Allen, unfortunately is best known for his 200 or so apologies for the Macaca statement. If he'd just said,"Yeah, I said it and I meant it! So what?" he'd be in much better shape with pubs, libertarians and indies. Now he is damaged goods.
Romney, has possibilities. His drawback is that he is the Governor of a state both hated and dismissed as beyond hope by the right.
Rice, bright, articulate, but a babe in the woods when it comes to national politics.
McCain is a loose cannon to be avoided at all costs.
Guilliani, more a pragmatist than a liberal. Mayor of a liberal city with a population greater than that of 38 of these United States. Did what he had to do to rebuild a city broken by more than 45 consecutive yrs of liberal rule while constantly fighting a liberal city council

I think Rice in VP will give her the executive experience she may need.
Regarding Schwartzkopf, I have no idea of his 'conservative' credentials, I just feel that in this time of war, he has the potential to keep this country focused, and will dispatch all of our enemies (external and internal) with vigor and leadership.
