To: Alas Babylon!

I wonder if they'll mention the Pontiff's remarks and the reaction to them.

Any "religion" whose adherents take to the streets in violent protest as a result of a cartoon, or the quoting of a 14th century Pope forfeits any claim to be an actual religion.

If Muslims have such a thin skin and react with vitriol at the slightest provocation, they ought to try being a Christian in America, where we are slandered and legislated against EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

On this side of the Pond, I hope Allen mops the floor with Webb.

Yeah... but it will be presented as “The Pope's Apology”.

Have you ever heard of a religious group that objects to their characterization by people as murderers who turn around and murder?

Politicians are cowards. They'll let the Pope be the lightning rod.
