Okay...I will watch for it.
Powell has 2 strikes against him in 2 weeks..the Plamegate thing and now this McCain/Bush fight.
Also...don't you find it interesting that of all of the Rep. Senators that are going against Pres. Bush, Powell addressed his letter to MCCAIN...not Warner, who had senioritiy...
And, so...that is the 3rd strike...he has openly put HIS candidate that he is campaigning for, at the HEAD of this.
All of these 4 Stooges Senators are also members of the 14 Dwarves!
My daughter is a gator, been out for almost ten years now, hard to believe.
I meant a pair of cowboy boots, but even as I typed it, I just knew a freeper would catch the double entendre! You did. LOL
Actually they have said that the Pope was "ignorant of Islam and it's noble prophet" and, according to Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti, everything he said about Islam and their prophet were "total lies."
Then they threaten to kill him, they shoot a few more nuns and priests and start burning down churches. All in the name of peace and understanding, of course.
if you visit MID around St. Patrick's Day get him to take you on the annual pub crawl in Denver. I did it with my sister one year. I hope they still do that.
Forget the Keating 5 thingy.
The fact that he was on a committee with John F'n Kerry about the POW/MIA'S in Vietnam...and not only thwarted the search for MIA's..but insulted the families of said MIA's when they came to Washington...is enough to get him
I think the Swifties and the POWs for Truth are planning to really go after him.
Never let them do that to you. It's part of what they count on. They keep hammering away with their "talking points" (lies) until we get tired of repeating ourselves when correcting and challenging them and we move on. We have to challenge them everytime.
Every single time.
There IS one:
The Cafferty Party candidates are: Powell/Obama 08!!!
Can't ya git behind that un???
Whew! But you are right, it is a good story.
You're welcome, mathluv.
And Allen is so naive he just fell right into the rat trap. He's too nice a guy to run for potus. If he was on his toes he would have shut Tim right down in no uncertain terms. He's not coming off as a tough leader, too nice.
His opponent(whatever that assholes name is) is a dunce cap with RNC talking points tattooed to his arm and as usual has nothing big to advance other than gotcha politics the rats are famous for. Now tim is talking about chewing tobacco, show goes down hill from here.
LOL Don't forget Brit
He blew up one of our own aircraft carriers with his stupidity and arrogance and doesn't deserve the honor of being Commander in Chief!
I am not familiar with this blowing up an aircraft carrier. What is it about?
Great analogy..
Also, what ISN'T in a gray area when the GC has the line: "outrages against personal dignity"...THAT whole description is gray.
O.K.
"Russert's show comes on here in 30 minutes. From what posters have said here about Timmy making love to Webb, I'm trying to decide if my curiosity will trump my imminent nausea."
Your post struck a chord. A few years ago I was visiting friends in DC. On one particular evening we were dining at home and they asked if I would like to watch a television interview later between Tim Russert and Don Imus. Neither name rang a bell.
Apparently Russert has a date every year with Mr. Imus, a radio personality who swears a lot and wears a cowboy hat.
Russert asks Mr. Imus why he wears the cowboy hat indoors and Mr. Imus won't tell him. Russert seems besotted with Mr. Imus who is sometimes indifferent to Mr. Russert's pleading questions, at other times answers brusquely or makes rude and insulting insinuations about Mr. Russert's obvious infatuation.
This went on for an hour, Mr. Imus as the big-haired prom queen, so wretchedly cute that her rep as a merciless sex tease is overlooked by the insecure guy, too smitten to care how foolish he looks.
It was a long, uncomforable hour; it was embarrassing to watch. I was re-assessing the taste and intelligence of my friends until they turned to me and seeing my expression of bewilderment and distaste burst out laughing.
I asked them why Mr. Russert was perspiring throughout the non-interview, more like a worship service, and why his eyes glistened as he gazed at Mr. Imus. My host said it was a post-coital glow.
Mr. Imus's radio program played briefly here and I would catch it sometimes while driving; it was cancelled so I would catch it on television at the office but I think you have to convince yourself that you have achieved a level of wordly sophistication whereby you are inured to the cheap, the vulgar, the vile and the stupid, in order to truly appreciate the prom queen's attractions.
I can't recall watching Mr. Russert's show again. That first expsure was too disturbing.
Damn, I just heard Allen with Tim and Allen sounded like a wimp and denounced the Confederate flag. But in all he just comes off as weak.
Guess we have too many nuts in Congress and not enough balls.
