Montreal gunman Kimveer Gill and his like-minded goth "friends" on the Vampire Freaks website are getting a salvo of freakin' anger.
In the three days since Gill shot dead Anastasia DeSousa and wounded 20 others in a bizarre shooting rampage at Dawson College, hundreds of bummed-out bloggers have unleashed a whirlwind of fury.
They have vented their wrath at Gill by turning his doom-filled VampireFreaks.com goth journal inside out.
And they have lambasted some of Gills' chatline "friends" who supported his murderous act.
In one entry, a girl who goes by the name of Tammy wrote Gill "only did the shooting for the good."
"He really is known as the angel of death, but a good one," wrote Tammy.
Gill's friends were rudely taunted and cruelly ridiculed in an outpouring of grief, anger and venom.
"How could the shooting have been for the good ... you sick twisted little girl," one blogger told Tammy.
Another blogger told Tammy to "get some help" for being in love with a "cowardly pathetic lamer" 10 years her senior.
One blogger wrote that he knew DeSousa and she was "AN AMAZING person. Gill WASN'T".
"If you're sad this nutcase died ... seek help," wrote another.
Hmmm. Still think they are irrevelant?
MONTREAL HEARING HELD FOR 5 SIKHS
By DOUGLAS MARTIN, SPECIAL TO THE NEW YORK TIMES
Five Sikhs charged with conspiring to possess explosives with intent to injure appeared today at an open hearing in provincial court here, and the presiding judge agreed to a defense request that no information about the proceedings be published or broadcast. Several press reports in Canada and India have suggested that the suspects planned to bomb an Air-India jumbo jet leaving from Kennedy International Airport in New York last Saturday night. The hearing today, to discuss whether bail will be granted for the five men, is to continue on Thursday. Although the hearing was open to the public, Judge Jean-Pierre Bonin ordered that journalists report nothing of what happened in the courtroom. Under the judge's order, it would be a criminal offense to publish the prosecution's account of its case.

I have only known a few Sikhs, but I can say this: I have never heard one bash America, they tend to work hard and be family people, they learn English, and in general I think they are one of the most beneficial immigrant groups here. I have met a jerk, but he was all of the above, just a jerk. I prefer to think he was an exception.
Well, hows about the journos allow their readers/viewers/listeners to make that determination?
I'm sorry but these kids going around killing other kids for kicks is getting more strange then fiction. What are we raising?
I read it in one Toronto paper, the Red Star, I believe.
However, aside from an older relative, his family weren't practicing Sikhs, i.e. no beards or turbans.
Goth ping.
