What it is ---
a couple of billion Illiterate Cro-Magnons, who take the word of their "Religious Leaders" as unquestionable truth, and they have too much time on their poverty-stricken(Brought on by their dictators) hands, and their only pastime is to get pissed off and act like idiots.

This is a very dire long term problem within the Arab world.
A recent UN report indicated that there are fewer than 1,100 books translated into Arabic annually and there have been more books translated in Spain in one year than in the last 1000 years in Arab countries. It gets worse, I have read some reports that even when books had become available, few people had an interest in actually reading them.
We are dealing with a cult that has intentionally been kept in the dark for a thousand years.
The Western world went through their enlightenment period a long time ago and has become, generationally, far more sophisticated in their ability to reason.
Christianity not only allows for an individual to have free will and a desire for discovery, it is encouraged. Islam, for way too many, does the opposite.
