The headline is misleading. If he wants them to go after the Pope the way they went after Salman Rushdie, then I think he's actually saying ... "leave the Pope alone."

I agree with you. I for one am sick to death of being threatened by scum, and now this call against the Pope is just too much. In my darkest fantasies I think, wouldn't it be nice if we could take out a few small countries to begin with and move on from there. I know that it won't happen, but on days like this it's fun to dream.
