I think the USDOD can come up with some " crusaders" that would do the job.

"The headline is misleading. If he wants them to go after the Pope the way they went after Salman Rushdie, then I think he's actually saying ... "leave the Pope alone."
I don't know what makes you think the Muslims are leaving Rushdie alone. He has basically been in hiding for seven years under very tight security. The Fatwa against him was renewed in 2005. He travels with a phalanx of bodyguards and no one knows where he stays or will be next. Publishers and interpreters of his books have been attacked and some killed. The crazed muslims would have killed him if they could, and they have not stopped trying.

one has hurt my feelings, therefore one must die.
Really, it's worse than that though, some one has hurt the
feelings of a man who died a thousand years ago, therefore
someone must die.
Loony as they come, it wouldn't matter if they were just
waiting for the Raelian space ships to come get them but NOOO, they want to kill us first.

"Somalia a nation of 10 million mostly moderate muslims..."Wait a minute, isn't that the country where christians are being murdered and enslaved by muslims?I wonder what the authors definition of moderate is? You're thinking of Sudan, that other "moderate" Islamic state nearby to Somalia

"He must apologise because he has offended the most honorable person who ever lived in the world," Abdullahi said. "
Could we ever get an IMHO from these people? Don't they realise that every individual in the whole world is entirely free to NOT like, admire or follow Mohammed.

[Liberals hate the Catholic Church even more than they fear Islam, and most countries are now dominated by liberals. In their governments, at least.]
Yep.

The pic is not showing up and I want to see it. Can you fix it?

'Moderate' in Islam means one hasn't personally strapped on the bomb belt yet. A "moderate" Muslim is somebody who desires to see the infidels dead, but who does not personally have the balls to actually do anything. Which is why you never see the "moderates" condemning the extremists
Somebody who does not believe in Jihad is not a Muslim at all. He's an apostate, and as such is subject to being killed by the first orthodox Muslim who finds an opportunity to do so

Don't worry about that being misinterpreted. The remark has now been flashed on every screen around the world and put in context. It is part of the packaging of the product. They don't know that it is we who are doing the packaging, they are merely furnishing the styrofoam peanuts.

[I said someone who cannot read rather than using the big word--illiterate--just in case someone from the NYT was reading this thread.]
LOL.
NYT "Repoter" to GWB: We're a friendly paper.
GWB: Yeah. Right.
GWB: I'd hate to see an unfriendly paper. (much laughter)

I don't quite understand what you mean.
To: bnelson44
I do not see how any of this will be resolved in a lasting way without a major world conflict. Unfortunately, much of the public is too busy watching bad TV to pay attention.
