Anyone thinking of walking into Carl Muscarello's Plantation home had better knock first. The 81-year-old retired New York detective had just returned home with his wife Tuesday morning. Tough old guy in great shape, saw him on the local news here. He also happens to be the guy in that great picture from the VJ day celebrations at the end of WWII, where he is bending a woman over and giving her a big ole kiss..

Interestingly, the name of the guy who took this famous NYC photo was also "Carl Muscarello".
